As part of the development of Ilona Rose House, Manette Street in Soho is to be partially pedestrianised and redeveloped to suit the wider context of the site.
The works include the introduction of James Court, a new external amenity space providing access through to Greek Street. The courtyard overlooks a large curved glass atrium designed to let light down into the deep basement below. The surrounding finishes are sympathetic to the historic use of the site and the rose pattern in the tiles is a reference to Manette Street’s former name of Rose Street. The other side of the courtyard retains the rough brick walls used to line the old courtyard space.
ACE are appointed to carry out Cost Management and Contract Administration duties for the project.
